MBBS Abroad Eligibility Criteria

Check if you qualify to study medicine abroad. Indian students must meet NMC guidelines along with country-specific university requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Must have qualified NEET UG (as per NMC regulations since 2022)
  • Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology in Class 12 (40% for reserved categories)
  • Minimum age of 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year
  • Class 12 from a recognized board (CBSE, ICSE, or State Board)
  • Valid passport (or willingness to apply before admission deadline)

Additional Notes

  • No upper age limit in most countries (some cap at 25 years)
  • IELTS/TOEFL generally not required for English-medium programs
  • No donation or management quota — merit-based admission only

  • NEET scorecard and admit card
  • Valid passport (minimum 2 years validity recommended)
  • Passport-size photographs (white background)
  • Medical fitness certificate

  • Parent/guardian ID proof
  • Bank statement or financial proof (for visa)
